Mohr & McPherson's collection of hand-crafted lamps from Brazilian artist Ana Maia is a dazzling display of illuminated art reflecting Maia's heritage and background as an architect and urban planner. These lamps, crafted from hand-made parchment from the oldest mills in Italy, exhibit the natural designs of the tropical landscape Maia grew up with as well as the sacred rituals of the indigenous people. At the same time, her use of spacing and formatting creates a surprisingly contemporary look.
