Description
Mamluk ruled Egypt for from 1250-1517 and produced some of the most exquisite and mathematically complex carpets. Ever since others have tried to duplicate these rugs. Our collection of Mamluk is woven in Turkey using the finest wool available.
Mamluks are recognized by their intricate Arabesque patterns, geometric eight-sided center medallion, repeating and interwoven designs, and the deep saturation of natural dyes. They are truly some of the finest rugs available.
