Description
Oushak are Turkish carpets highly sought after for their casual elegance. They were some of the first commercially woven rugs for an international market dating back to the 15th century. Turkish Oushaks are more coarsely woven subsequently creating large-scale designs, geometric based motifs, medallions and vines. They use beautiful local wool and use soft melded colors. Oushaks most common palette is based in creamy golden and terra cotta tones with dusty rose, bronze and hints of greens and blues.
