"Although we have a number of award-winning concepts in the Boston area, including The Estate, Tosca and Marina Bay Beach Club, our new project, Shrine, located at the new MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut, dictated that we raise the bar even higher in terms of decor and visual experience. Shrine combines a 250-seat restaurant and 1000-person nightclub in an elegant, Asian-themed setting.

  I had become familiar with Mohr & McPherson over the years and knew immediately that they would be an ideal source for all things Asian, whether it be artifacts, furniture or artwork. Kay, Tim and Bettina were particularly helpful in realizing what we were looking for and kept us abreast of new arrivals from China and Japan over the four months leading up to our opening in May 2008.

  The items from Mohr & McPherson have created a real wow-factor and their uniqueness continues to draw great comments from our patrons, which is exactly what we were looking for in the design. Even six months after Shrine's opening, the Mohr & McPherson staff stays in touch and alerts us to new pieces that could work in our location. All in all, working with Mohr & McPherson has been a terrific experience."
